uhmm so i dont know how many of you would have heard/seen Neighbours. Anyway its about one Character - Izzy who is like a Rachel a la One Tree Hill so i'm hoping by that you may just understand it. She's basically wants to make amends and change.
=========
Everyone hated her, I knew that, they’d made it pretty obvious but could I blame them? I guess not. She lied, cheated and scammed her way around for most of the time but that was her way of dealing with things that life threw at her, instead of facing it head on like nearly everyone else does she’d find the easy way out and that’s why nearly everyone disliked her.
But they didn’t see. They didn’t see the real her, another side to her that she kept hidden away. The vulnerable side, the side where she just wanted someone to love her for being…well her and for people to see that really she was just afraid and lonely. That all she ever wanted was to fit in which is why she did everything she did, to fit in, to be normal and liked. But of course that plan didn’t work out and she ended up being hated, an outcast and ending up being lonely, the one thing she feared most.
But then she got used to the idea, she thought it was better to be hated than loved because at least that way she couldn’t get hurt. There were people she had let in and that she had desperately loved but they ended up leaving, shattering her into a thousand pieces and this is when she realised that maybe she was better off being hated.
Then things happened, something that made her change the way she was. She didn’t want to be hated no more, she wanted to live, she wanted to wake up in the morning and smile at the fact she had another day to live her life, to see her friends and family.
And so here I am, about to show everyone that I’m not the person they thought I was.
“Isabelle?” Susan asked as she opened her door, rubbing her eyes as she tried to wake herself up.
“Can we talk?”
A slight wave of hope spread across me as Susan stepped aside allowing me in. This was it, I, Isabelle Hoyland am about to show the people of Erinsborough the real me.
